Are in WA0.19 from 14:00 to 22:00 every Wednesday, which is in the Avon building on the Westwood Campus*.
*Still don't know where it is? Find it here
Meanwhile, WA0.09 is available for Magic from 16:00.

At the Phantom Coach after the Sci-fi quiz this wednesday a black/dark grey jacket was left. If this is yours please contact me, Rachel (Lighty) before the end of term to get it back. It's being stored at my house currently.

This Wednesday heralds the continuation of that most hallowed of the Games, Role-Playing, Science Fiction and Fantasy Society's traditions... the END-OF-TERM QUIZ.
Said Quiz will commence at 16:30 in H3.56 - and shall be followed by food at the Phantom Coach*.
Please be congealing in H3.56 sometime before, so we can start quickly and fit in as many quiz rounds as possible.
If you would rather stick around and play board games, Magic &c. we do still have the other rooms booked 14:00 - 22:00, as normal.
* If you don't know where that is, worry not, for we shall take you there!

The Warwick Student Cinema has a showing of THE CORE tonight.
This is a famously bad/hilarious sci-fi film which is necessary viewing for any fan. If only for the drinking game. (Alcohol is not allowed in the WSC. >>)
As such, Sci-Fi has booked out a row for your pleasure tonight. Exec will be there from quarter past 7 and it should be a fun night.

Next weekend (Week 9) will be our first Video Weekend of the year!
As the name suggests, it will be a weekend of watching videos - be they good, bad, or terrible. Got something you'd like to force us to watch? Bring it along!
The video weekend shall be running 10:00 to 22:00 both days in S0.18.

Stargate Night will be running tonight, from 18:00 to 22:00 in S0.21.
There will be a showing of the original movie, before fast forwarding to Continuum, wherein the last of the Goa'uld System Lords is brought to justice.
This was due to be overnight. However, recently (without telling anyone) the university decided to restrict overnight bookings to the science concourse & the Library. As such, my original request for SocSci was denied, and it was too late to book any of the 'overnight' rooms.

This weekend we have the annual Society trip to Birmingham. It will involve visits to a few of Birmingham's best locations.
Famous Board Games, Role Playing Games and Wargaming emporium, Waylands Forge.
Comic, and general geek item retailer, Forbidden Planet.
Comics and nostalgia shop, Nostalgia & Comics
The Fine food retailer, Birmingham Christmas market.
Many discerning book emporiums.

Unfortunately, on Saturday Week 8 Debating decided to be ███████ and book every room in Social Sciences. As such, we have none of our usual rooms booked for this day.
Additionally, Saturday Week 8 is our Birmingham Trip, which may very well last all afternoon to get a good look and all the shops and/or Christmas Market.
Because of this, I am inclined to say there will be no RPGs on Saturday Week 8. However, if you are desperate to run something you are more than welcome to do so. You may try your luck and go to SocSci, and hope Debating aren't using all the rooms. Alternatively, let me know and I'll book a room elsewhere in the Uni for you.
